Contact Set (2 required) (CD3047)
One of the most frustrating issues classic car owners face is unreliable ignition caused by worn or inferior contact points. When these components fail, your engine can misfire, run poorly, or even stall unexpectedly, leaving you stranded or damaging your vintage vehicle’s performance.
This problem disrupts your daily drives and weekend restorations, causing unnecessary stress and costly repairs. Without high-quality replacement parts, maintaining the smooth operation and authenticity of your classic motor becomes a constant challenge.
Our Contact Set offers the perfect solution for restoring reliable ignition to your classic car’s distributor.
- Manufactured to original specifications with a fibre heel akin to the original Tufnol, avoiding the plastic failures common in cheaper alternatives.
- Features the correct spring poundage for consistent, precise contact pressure and optimal engine timing.
- Equal diameter contact points ensure a perfect fit and long-term durability, matching the original standards.
Countless specialists endorse these contact points for their superior reliability over imported, lower-quality versions that often fail prematurely. Investing in quality now prevents costly downtime and preserves your engine’s performance as intended.
Don’t let inferior ignition parts compromise your classic car’s driveability. Upgrade to our premium Contact Set (2 required) and experience smoother starts, improved engine response, and peace of mind on every journey. Order now to keep your vintage motor running like new.
These are twin points for the distributor. 2 are required per car
We have recently sourced re-manufactured points to the original RR specification. We believe this new batch of points to be far superior to any previously offered on the market. Our points are manufactured with a fibre heel (similar to the original Tufnol) rather than the plastic one found on most inferior alternatives. The spring is the correct poundage and the contact points are of equal diameter as per the original. Our contact points may be more expensive than others you will see advertised, but these cheaper imported items will fail as numerous specialists will testify.
